Aeroquip Flanged Hose Fittings

Experience with MS20756 (formerly AN756) type flanges in higher pressure applications indicates that a reduced proof pressure should be used in the larger sizes. When jump size fittings are used, the proof pressure shall be limited to the flange or hose proof pressures, whichever is lowest. This limitation is necessitated by reported warping of the flange and shoulder, with subsequent failure of the gasket seal, when subjected to the usual minimum 2X operating proof pressures for certain hose styles.
