Herber Acquires Aviation Component Services, Inc.
December 1, 2012 EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Herber Aircraft has acquired Aviation Component Services, Inc. (ACS), a manufacturer of high quality aviation parts.
Founded in 1990, ACS produces EGT harnesses, static seals, high temperature air tubes, acoustic attenuators, and other structural parts and engine components. Their customers include American Airlines, Rolls-Royce, Lufthansa Technik, Southwest Airlines, and numerous brokers and smaller operators.
Randy Herber, Vice President of Sales & Operations for Herber Aircraft, said, “This acquisition will benefit Herber’s and ACS’ customers. Herber’s product line has expanded, particularly with rigid harnesses. ACS’ customers now have the convenience of a sole source OEM who is certified for EGT harness repair.”
