We stock aerospace and industrial hose assemblies, bulk hoses and fittings, quick-disconnect couplings and swivel joints, and firesleeves and chafeguards for your aerospace applications. To best meet your needs, Teflon™ and rubber hose assemblies are built to manufacturer or custom specification. For best practices, integral firesleeve Teflon hose assemblies are produced with vulcanized end caps. Cross references are available to most airframe manufacturers as well as to military and other standards.

For industrial applications we offer rubber or Teflon hose assemblies, bulk hoses and fittings, and quick-disconnect couplings and adapters. Ground support equipment hoses are built to manufacturer or your specifications.

Clamps and Flanges (Marman, Grimes, Janitrol)

Clamp offerings include V-band couplings, hand clamps, strap assemblies, joints, flanges and gaskets. These products are available in a wide selection of sizes and configurations, and with single or multiple latch couplings. In addition, brackets and attachments are available in channel-band or flexible coupling joints, in machined and sheet flanges, and with standard quick-disconnect and custom clamps.

Ducting

Herber distributes Cyclone® ducting and Thermoid Aeroduct®. Cyclone ducting is perfect for moving large volumes of hot and cold air at a constant temperature. Applications include: portable blowers and heaters, temporary ship construction ventilation, welding fume removal, and utility manhole ventilation portable heaters. This ducting (type UB1) is factory pre-insulated, flexible, and lightweight. It will not mildew or rot and features an exterior scuff strip to resist abrasion. Retractability is approximately five to one.

Designed for wire-support aircraft ducting, Aeroduct is suitable for permanent or temporary installations. It is manufactured with fiberglass and impregnated with Neoprene® or silicone rubber compounds, making it ideal for flame-resistant and high-temperature applications.

SCAT ducting – recommended for extremely cold or hot air ducting where temperatures range from -85° to 550°F.
SCEET ducting – recommended for extremely cold or hot air ducting where temperatures range from -80° to 550°F, and for conveying fumes.

Herber also offers Flexfab Lightweight Air Ducting. Because of its light weight and flexibility, this ducting is ideal for environmental control systems (ECS). Available off the shelf or as a custom order, Flexfab lightweight air ducting is offered in silicone or urethane. These materials ensure high resistance to hardening, cracking, stress, aging, and high temperatures.

Engine Mounts

As a premier distributor of Lord products, Herber Aircraft offers an unsurpassed inventory of Lord engine mounts for commercial airlines, commuter aircraft, and the general aviation piston industry.

Herber can also provide your company with an exchange service for your used engine mounts. In the exchange program we stock your mounts so that when you send one in for overhaul/repair we immediately replace it with an overhauled mount, reducing your downtime.

Herber can also provide your company with factory-overhauled engine mounts for many engine applications. In the repair program, your Lord engine mount is overhauled, then returned to you as a zero-time unit. This program results in significant savings when compared to purchasing new mounts. Rynglok Tube Repair Systems

Rynglok® products offered include industry-approved hydraulic tube repair systems that facilitate permanent repairs while tubing is still on the aircraft. The hydraulic tube repair system is available for all tubing materials and wall thicknesses; tooling is available for O.D. from 3/16” to 2”. In addition, repair kits can be custom designed.
